Vietnam Youth Academy Benchmark

In 2024, the admission score of the Vietnam Youth Academy based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 24.5 to 27.5 points. Of which, the Public Relations major has the highest admission score, at 27.5 points. The admission score for Psychology is 26.5; Law is 25.5; State Management and Social Work are both 25.5; Youth Work, Party Building and State Administration are both 24.5 points.

Next school year, Vietnam Youth Academy will enroll 1,710 students with 3 main enrollment methods:

• Method 1: Direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
• Method 2: Admission based on high school graduation exam results
• Method 3: Review of academic records

The Academy notes that for the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, candidates must graduate from high school (or equivalent), take the high school graduation exam in 2025, achieve 15 points or higher and have no failed subjects in the exam group.

For the method of considering high school results of grade 12, candidates who have graduated from high school (or equivalent), the total average score of the entire grade 12 year of 3 subjects in the admission group must be from 20 points or higher (subjects in the admission group must not be less than 6 points).

Regarding the threshold to ensure input quality and conditions for admission registration, the Academy notes that for the method of considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, candidates with a total score of the registered admission combination (expected) greater than or equal to 15 points, the specific threshold for each major will be announced by the Academy in the admission notice at the time of admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

For the method of considering high school academic results for candidates graduating from high school in 2025 or earlier, candidates must have a total average score of 03 subjects in the admission combination of grade 12 in the admission combination registered by the Academy (expected) greater than or equal to 20 points (excluding priority points).

Regulations on admission principles are as follows: Admission scores are on a scale of 30 and rounded to two decimal places; the Academy considers scores from high to low until the quota is full; ensuring the admission principles of candidates according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Academy.
