According to the report of the Provincial Federation of Labor, by the end of May 31, 2023, the whole province had 1,186/1,191 grassroots trade unions organizing congresses and conferences for the 2023-2028 term (accounting for 99.6%).
Of these, 1,168 grassroots unions held congresses and 18 grassroots unions held conferences (including 13 units under the Lao Cai City Labor Federation, 1 unit under the Van Ban District Labor Federation and 4 units under the Industry and Trade Union).
In addition, there are 5 grassroots trade unions that have not or will not organize congresses or conferences, accounting for 0.4% (including 3 units belonging to the Bat Xat District Labor Federation and 2 units belonging to the Sa Pa Town Labor Federation).
Preliminary assessment, the grassroots trade union congress, term 2023 - 2028, was actively and proactively prepared by the trade unions of the units, well prepared conditions and successfully organized. The documents submitted to the congress have a reasonable, scientific and quality structure and basic content.
The Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union selected the Department of Home Affairs Trade Union to organize a grassroots trade union congress for the 2023-2028 term.
In particular, the summary report on the implementation of the congress resolution was carefully prepared, clearly indicating the results achieved, shortcomings and limitations in the past term; determining the goals, directions, tasks and solutions in the new term close to the actual situation of the unit.
The review report focused on reviewing the leadership and direction of the executive committee in a frank and serious spirit.
