Activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day

A series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day will take place in Hanoi from July 24 to September 5, 2025.

Attending the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of ministries, branches, central political and social organizations and localities in the vicinity of Hanoi; representatives of Public Security, Police, Security, and Home Affairs of neighboring countries, ASEAN countries and some countries with friendly relations. Ambassadors, Heads of diplomatic missions and security and police representatives of some countries, Heads of some international organizations in Hanoi...

General Secretary To Lam will attend, direct and deliver a speech at the Celebration Ceremony. Organize the Final Round of the 9th "For National Security" Sports Congress and the 6th Public Security Command, Military and Martial Arts Competition (Opening Ceremony on July 26, 2025 at My Dinh Athletics Palace, Hanoi and organize competitions from late July and early August 2025). Coordinate the organization of the "National Day for National Security Protection" locations (held in July 2025).

Organize CAND Drama Week in Hanoi (expected to open on July 27, 2025 at Ho Guom Theater).

Organizing an exhibition on the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (expected to be held from August 5 to August 12 at the Hanoi Museum); an international exhibition on fire prevention and fighting techniques and equipment, search and rescue, and security, safety and protection equipment in 2025 (from August 14 to 16, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City); participating in an exhibition of socio-economic achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (expected to be held from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Organize the World Police Music Festival in Vietnam in 2025 (held from August 8-10, 2025, at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi).

Organizing a national scientific conference to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (held on August 4, 2025 at the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, 30 Tran Binh Trong, Hanoi).

Organizing the 9th "For National Security" Emulation Congress in the People's Public Security Forces (held on August 6, 2025, at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi).

Organize the "Peaceful Festival" program including a series of cultural, artistic and sports activities (held from August 16 to August 19, 2025, at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi).

Coordinate with Nhan Dan Newspaper to organize the walking event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" (held from 5:00 - 9:00, August 16, 2025, at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi).

Coordinate with Communist Magazine to organize the Art Program "Independence Star - 2025" - the 10th year to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security and 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on August 24, 2025, at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi).
