The referee is Mr. Nagamine Koki. This black-shirted king is 33 years old this year, has many years of experience, and has officiated in many prestigious tournaments. According to statistics from Global Sports Archive , Mr. Koki has been the main referee in 49 matches, all at the club level. The confrontation between the Vietnam and Myanmar teams will be the first time Mr. Koki has officiated at the national team level.

Referee Koki

Mr. Koki mainly referees tournaments in the Japanese professional system such as J-League 1, J-League or Emperor's Cup. In addition, he has 2 matches as a referee in Premier League 2, a tournament for youth teams of teams competing in the Premier League. In these 2 matches, he blew 1 penalty and showed 8 yellow cards. Up to this point, he has blown a total of 5 penalties, shown 103 yellow cards and 4 red cards.

Mr. Koki's two assistants are Asada Takeshi and Takebe Yosuke. The fourth referee is Mr. Wiwat Jumpaoon (Thailand). The match supervisor and referee supervisor are Mr. Asep Saputra (Indonesia) and Mr. Widiya Habibah Binti Shamsuri (Malaysia). All of these officials will arrive in Vietnam on December 19.

Similarly, the Myanmar team split into two groups and also arrived in Vietnam on December 19. Group 1 is expected to arrive at 8:15 p.m., 40 minutes earlier than the second group. This match will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 21. This is also Nguyen Xuan Son's debut match for the Vietnamese team.
