Album 'Soul of Vietnam' awakens love for Vietnamese history

After more than 20 years of nurturing and composing, musician Hoai An has just released the album 'Vietnamese Soul', including 15 songs imbued with the national spirit, history and culture of Vietnam.

"I consider this a musical work of my life," Hoai An shared, adding, "When I held the disc in my hand, the first thing I wanted to do was go home and show it to my parents - the people who have always supported and inspired me on this journey."

The album was carefully invested in the arrangement and music by musicians Ly Huynh Long, Dat Kim, Minh Dang; with the participation of more than 20 vocalists and backing groups, choirs: Vo Ha Tram, Tran Huu Kien, Duy Linh, Doan Dai Hoa, Nha Thy, Cong Quoc, Khanh Hue , Ho Thao Nguyen, Cadillac backing group, and Ngay Moi choir.

The Vietnamese Soul is divided into 3 groups of topics: national heroes ( Me Linh drum, Reed flag, Saint Tran, Ly Dynasty famous general, Emperor in cloth ); legends - history (Story of Co Loa citadel, Dong A spirit, Thang Long spirit, Bach Dang river ...); fairy tales ( Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh, Thach Sanh, Truong Chi - My Nuong, Banh chung - Banh giay ).

Hoai An chose to release the album in the form of 2 CDs with QR codes to download high-quality original files, because "CD is a cultural and solemn product, both for preservation and as a gift". In addition, Hoai An also plans to release it online in the form of karaoke, lyrics clip or MV in the near future.
