Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim has just reported the results of stock transactions to the Securities Commission, the Stock Exchange and Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company.

According to the report, Ms. Kim successfully sold 13.2 million VCI shares of Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company. The transaction was conducted from September 4 to 11, by order matching and/or negotiation.

After the transaction, Ms. Kim reduced her holding ratio from 5.17% to 2.18% of capital. Ms. Kim is subject to the transaction reporting to the management agency because she is the wife of Mr. To Hai - General Director and member of the Board of Directors of Vietcap.

Mr. To Hai currently holds more than 99.1 million VCI shares, equivalent to 22.44% ownership - higher than Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - chairwoman of this securities company (3.97% of capital).

VCI stock price during the period when Ms. Kim sold shares tended to decrease. Also during this period, data recorded the volume of negotiated transactions of more than 11 million VCI shares on September 4, at a price of nearly VND46,000/share.

It is estimated that based on the closing price, Mr. To Hai's wife could earn more than 600 billion VND after selling a large amount of Vietcap shares.

It is known that Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim, born in 1976, holds many leadership positions in many enterprises such as member of the board of directors of Ben Thanh Trading - Service Joint Stock Company, chairwoman of the board of directors of Phe La Joint Stock Company, member of the board of directors and general director of Katinat Café Joint Stock Company...

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao - Deputy General Director of Vietcap - also reported the results of stock transactions with more than 1.5 million shares out of 2.8 million registered.

Explaining the reason for not completing the transaction, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao said it was due to unfavorable market conditions. Vietcap shares have "evaporated" nearly 14% of their market value in the past quarter.
