Chut ethnic people happily celebrate Cha Leng festival

The well-organized Cha Leng Festival has shown the concern of all levels and sectors in Huong Khe ( Ha Tinh ) for the Chut ethnic people in the area.

Chut ethnic people in Ban Giang 2, Huong Vinh commune exchange cultural performances to celebrate Tet.

On the morning of December 16 (November 4 of the lunar calendar), the Chut ethnic people in Ban Giang 2, Huong Vinh commune organized a program to celebrate Cha Leng festival.

On the even day of the 11th lunar month every year (chosen by the villagers), after the harvest is complete, the Chut people celebrate the Cha Leng festival to thank heaven and earth for favorable weather, bountiful crops and to welcome the new season.

Giang 2 Village currently has 15 households with 55 people. This year, the Chut ethnic people celebrate Cha Leng festival in favorable weather conditions. In addition to the customary forest edge worship ritual, cultural exchange, and reviewing cultural traditions... people also receive many meaningful Tet gifts.
