Arrest of wanted suspect hiding on fishing boat in Ly Son

On October 1, Ly Son Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Quang Ngai Province) coordinated with Ly Son District Police (Quang Ngai) and Tuy Phong District Police ( Binh Thuan ) to arrest suspect Nguyen Van Lau (32 years old, residing in Ha Thuy 3 village, Chi Cong commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan ) according to the wanted decision of Tuy Phong District Police Investigation Agency.

Nguyen Van Lau (white shirt) was arrested by authorities.

Accordingly, through the work of controlling people and vehicles entering and exiting the sea border area in Ly Son district, at 4:45 a.m. on October 1, Ly Son Border Guard Station discovered Nguyen Van Lau hiding on fishing boat QNg 96579 TS, when the fishing boat was anchored at the Ly Son boat shelter.

Immediately after discovery, the unit coordinated with Ly Son District Police and Tuy Phong District Police to arrest Lau and take him to Ly Son District Police headquarters to take his statement.

Nguyen Van Lau was prosecuted by Tuy Phong District Police Department for illegal possession of narcotics. During the investigation, on August 29, Lau left the area and went to Ly Son Island to hide on fishermen's fishing boats.
