Director of a general clinic in Bac Giang arrested for health insurance fraud

On January 20, Bac Giang Provincial Police announced that they had decided to prosecute a criminal case of Health Insurance Fraud, which occurred at Duc Giang Medical Company Limited - Hanoi.

Accordingly, the police agency has prosecuted and arrested the defendant Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 1977, residing in Duc Giang commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province), Director of Duc Giang - Hanoi Medical Company Limited, concurrently Director of Duc Giang General Clinic, for the crime of health insurance fraud.

The above decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy of Bac Giang province.

The Investigation Police Agency carries out legal proceedings against the accused Nguyen Thi Hue (red shirt).

The Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Provincial Police has coordinated with Yen Dung District Police to organize the implementation of legal proceedings against the accused Nguyen Thi Hue according to the provisions of law.

Previously, the Economic Police Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police discovered information about signs of health insurance fraud at Duc Giang General Clinic - Hanoi, so they focused their forces to investigate and clarify.

During the investigation, it was determined that Nguyen Thi Hue, as the Director of the Clinic, directed staff to create fake health insurance medical records to embezzle large sums of money.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Provincial Police continues to investigate, expand the case, and handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
