"Hanoi, Vietnam - we are so excited to announce that we will be back to see you on June 4 and 5. Tickets will be on sale from Monday, May 13" - Westlife's official fanpage wrote on the afternoon of May 9.

According to the information on the poster, the two shows will be held at My Dinh Athletics Palace - Hanoi at 8pm.

Westlife and 911 - two boybands working hard to come to Vietnam

The guest for the two shows was also a boy band loved by Vietnamese audiences, 911. The group 911 has also been to Vietnam many times for different performance events.

As for Westlife, Vietnamese audiences expressed their welcome in a post announcing two shows in Hanoi. The post quickly received nearly 6,000 interactions and 2,200 comments. Many people tagged their friends to invite them to attend.

"Knowing that I missed the appointment last year, are you guys flying to Hanoi this year?" - a female viewer commented.

This is similar to the fever last year when Westlife announced a performance in Ho Chi Minh City in November. Tickets sold well, forcing the organizers to open a standing room area.

Westlife is a famous boyband of the 2000s, debuted in Dublin, Ireland in 1998.

The group consisted of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne. In addition, famous former member Brian McFadden left the group in 2004.

In 2012, the group disbanded then reunited in 2018 and continued their musical activities.

Upon their return, Westlife were keen on the Asian market and visited Vietnam several times, most recently in 2023 with two shows in November in Ho Chi Minh City.

The group made a good impression with their friendly and humorous communication and dozens of familiar songs that Vietnamese audiences know by heart.

However, the music night also caused a stir on the sidelines because the organization was quite messy and controversial.

After leaving Ho Chi Minh City, Westlife continued to leave good messages about Vietnam and hoped to return here.
