Tuan Hung also said that he received many invitations to act in films but decided to choose a State film directed by Phi Tien Son about war. The male singer said that when acting in a film, he did not need to act because all emotions came naturally.

"In the past, we only mentioned war as rushing into bomb disposal, rushing into battle, forgetting ourselves. But in war, there is also sacrifice for love. Two people who had just gotten married had to part ways, sacrificing for the peace of the country. It is a movie worth watching, so that our generation can see that what we have today is thanks to the sacrifices of our ancestors" - Tuan Hung shared.

The male singer affirmed that even if he became famous with 10 commercial films, he would still accept the trade-off to receive "Peach, Pho and Piano" because of the values that the film brings.

The film directed by Phi Tien Son was ordered by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Cinema to be produced by Feature Film Joint Stock Company I, inspired by the 60-day and night battle in late 1946 and early 1947 in Hanoi.

Before its release during Tet, the film won the Silver Lotus Award at the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival in November 2023.
