This afternoon (August 26), at Km5+580-Km5+700, Deo Ca Group officially constructed the hollow asphalt concrete layer - the first asphalt concrete layer at the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway project after the investor, supervision consultant evaluated, tested the quality and approved the previous test results.

The first batches of asphalt concrete laid by Deo Ca Group were semi-hollow asphalt mix 25 (HHBR25).

The carpet organization process is closely monitored according to approved procedures and regulations.

To ensure the asphalt concrete paving work, the contractor mobilized 3 asphalt concrete paving rigs, each rig consisting of 1 paving machine, 4 rollers, 30 asphalt concrete transport trucks and dozens of engineers and workers.

The representative of Deo Ca contractor said that the organization of asphalt concrete paving of Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway is an important step in completing the project, shortening the time and progress to bring the project to the finish line in 2025 in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Transport .

Currently, throughout the project, the contractor has deployed 50 construction teams, mobilized more than 4,000 personnel, more than 1,750 machines and equipment, and organized 3 shifts of construction. For the tunnel items, the contractor is working 24/7.

Road roller driver Tran Van Gioi, from Can Tho City, said he was mobilized from the Van Phong - Chi Thanh project to serve the project's construction. Having participated in many large projects, he always had a very special feeling every time he held the wheel to roll the first meters of asphalt.

Previously, on August 23, Deo Ca contractor organized a test paving of 100m of asphalt concrete to evaluate and test the quality before officially paving.

According to the representative of Deo Ca Group, in this asphalt paving campaign, the contractor will complete 1km of asphalt paving with cement-reinforced crushed stone, striving to pave 5-7km by the end of 2025 if the weather is favorable.

The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway is 88km long, connecting the two provinces of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh. In the phased phase, the project was invested in a scale of 4 lanes, with a roadbed width of 17m. According to the original plan, the project would be completed in 2026, but following the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Transport, Deo Ca Group and contractors are focusing resources, working day and night to complete the project in 2025.
