Trung Ha Bridge reopened to traffic from 3:00 p.m. on September 25.

The Department of Transport has just issued Document No. 2971/TB-SGTVT, dated September 25, 2024, on adjusting traffic flow and organization of Trung Ha Bridge at km64+639, National Highway 32, in the province.

Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. on September 25, 2024, cars with less than 7 seats, two-wheeled motorbikes, three-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes (including electric motorbikes), rudimentary road vehicles and traffic participants are allowed to cross Trung Ha Bridge. Only one lane is allowed in each direction; vehicles travel in the designated lane and at a maximum speed of 20km/h. In particular, vehicles are prohibited from stopping or parking on the bridge.

Other contents are implemented according to the relevant documents of the Vietnam Road Administration and Phu Tho Department of Transport previously issued. The Department of Transport Inspectorate, the Traffic Construction and Maintenance Project Management Board (hereinafter referred to as the Management Board), the road management unit and relevant agencies and functional units continue to guide, regulate and organize traffic flow through Trung Ha Bridge to ensure traffic safety.

In addition, the Management Board directs the construction unit and the project supervision consultant unit "Repair of Trung Ha Bridge (km64+639), National Highway 32, Phu Tho Province" to daily monitor and measure the riverbed elevation in the area of pillars T11 and T12; regularly monitor and check the current status of pillars T11 and T12, clear floating objects attached to the area of pillars T11 (if any) and promptly propose and report to the Department of Transport and relevant agencies for appropriate adjustments to ensure traffic safety and safety of Trung Ha Bridge.
