According to the Organizing Committee, this year's Award Ceremony will be organized in a way that is innovative in content and method to honor authors with outstanding works that win the Award. The Award Ceremony will demonstrate solemnity, have profound political and social significance, and have a strong influence in the press and the whole society; and have the effect of gathering and uniting a large number of reporters and journalists working in press agencies and Journalists Associations at all levels nationwide.

The main content is to honor the award-winning authors, along with special art programs, with famous artists, performances with modern, attractive sound and light.

Of the 165 works in the final round, the Council discussed, evaluated and voted to select 10 A prizes, 26 B prizes, 45 C prizes and 41 Encouragement prizes to award the 18th National Press Awards in 2023. The main highlight is that many works were invested seriously and elaborately, the content discovered new issues, criticized major policies and guidelines of the Party and State; proposed many creative solutions, good ways of doing things that have great influence and influence in society. Many works demonstrated professionalism, attractiveness, and the breath of modern journalism.

Not only central press agencies, many local press agencies have also made many changes in the way they choose topics and themes and implement them in new, modern ways, which are highly appreciated for both quality and form of expression.
