Investors selected for aircraft maintenance project number 3 and 4 at Long Thanh airport

The Ministry of Construction has just issued a decision approving the results of selecting investors in special cases for the investment project to build and operate aircraft maintenance services No. 3 and No. 4 at Long Thanh International Airport.

According to the decision, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company is the winning investor with a contract value of VND 1,543 billion. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is responsible for completing the signing procedures with the winning investor and managing the implementation of the signed contract in accordance with legal regulations.

It is expected that the aircraft maintenance service business project No. 3 and No. 4 at Long Thanh International Airport will be basically completed in 2025 and put into operation in 2026. The investor is responsible for completing and putting the project into operation safely, effectively, and synchronously with other projects under the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister .

Each investment project in construction and business of aircraft maintenance services will meet the maintenance capacity at a time for at least 2 code E aircraft (B747/B787/A350 or equivalent) and 4 code C aircraft (A320/A321 or equivalent).
