Vietnam - EU Economic and Trade Forum 2023

In the coming two days of November 9-10, 2023, in Hanoi, the University of Economics , VNU, in collaboration with the Cracow University of Economics (Poland), the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), the Vietnam Business Association in the EU (VBAE) will organize the Vietnam - EU Economic and Trade Forum 2023 (VEF 2023).

The forum is a gathering place for Vietnamese and EU policymakers, scholars, and businessmen to exchange and discuss ways to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two regions.

The forum is also expected to open up new research cooperation between universities under VNU and research institutes, businesses, development organizations, and state management agencies of Vietnam and the EU, aiming to solve major issues on sustainable socio-economic development of Vietnam and EU countries.

Some discussion topics at the Forum:

- Explore the economic relationship between Vietnam and Europe in the context of globalization, sustainable development and response to climate change.

- Connecting trade, service and investment partners of Vietnam and Europe.

- Assess the current situation and find solutions to remove technical barriers in international trade; provide scientific arguments, policy, financial, technical and social solutions towards the goal of promoting sustainable development, green growth and responding to climate change in Vietnam and Europe.

In particular, at the forum, the organizing committee launched a monograph with the theme: " Economic - Political Aspects of Europe-Asia Relations " published by Springer Publishing House.

The event is organized in both live and online formats.
