Gia Lai: Training on artificial intelligence application in logistics service development

(GLO)- On the morning of June 19, in Pleiku City, the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai coordinated with the Vietnam E-commerce Association in the Central Highlands region to organize a training conference on "Promoting the application of artificial intelligence in developing logistics services" for 60 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the province.

In recent years, the logistics activities of Gia Lai province have made remarkable progress. The basic transport infrastructure system meets the travel needs, the transport network is relatively reasonably distributed. Along with that, the information technology infrastructure of state agencies has been invested; the warehouse and yard system, serving the purpose of gathering and preserving goods has been invested in construction. In addition, the province's agricultural products are now present in more than 60 countries around the world , so the demand for logistics to serve the transportation and trading of goods is very large. However, besides the achieved results, logistics activities still have certain difficulties and challenges, causing difficulties for businesses due to high transportation costs and difficulty in competing.

At the training conference, delegates were informed by lecturers from the Vietnam E-commerce Association in the Central Highlands region about the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing logistics services such as: building effective transportation strategies, warehouse and order management processes; solving logistics challenges with AI. At the same time, they learned an overview of the national traceability system; how to implement and practice traceability...

Through the training conference, it aims to support businesses, cooperatives, and business households to promptly grasp the development trend of artificial intelligence technology for logistics activities, promote the transformation of business methods, upgrade and expand warehouse systems; innovate equipment, technology, etc. Thereby improving business efficiency, as well as enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and cooperatives in the context of world economic integration.
