The new feature of the 11th Thanh Hoa Southern Football Championship, East Asia Cup 2024 (THF-11) is the accompanying appearance of the Thanh Hoa Southern Veterans Tournament, including 8 veteran teams, born in 1986 or earlier, participating in the competition.

THF-11 is scheduled to take place from November 24 to December 29, bringing together 16 teams divided into 4 groups playing in a 7-a-side format (according to VFF regulations).

In addition to the veteran field, in the THF-11 field, in the first match, one of the candidates for the championship, Nga Son, had a convincing victory over Ba Thuoc FC 5-1, with a hat-trick by Tran The Thanh, who also won the title of best player of the match.

In another match, Nghi Son Town had an impressive 3-1 comeback against Sam Son City. In Vinh Loc's 4-2 victory over Thanh Hoa City, the former U.23 Vietnam player contributed 1 goal. In the match at the same time, Ha Trung accepted a 1-2 defeat against Nhu Thanh FC.

Regarding the prize structure, the champion team receives a gold medal, a cup and 40 million VND, the second place team receives a silver medal and 20 million VND; the third place team receives a bronze medal and 10 million VND. The referee team and the excellent fan club receive 2 million VND. The individual prizes for the best player, top scorer, and player with the most goals are worth 3 million VND.
