Young and powerful voice of Hai Phong land

In the Young Writers Committee of the Hai Phong City Writers Association, there is a strange, clear and powerful poetic voice that is attracting attention - poet Ky Duong.

At only 18 years old, Ky Duong already owns two poetry collections that have been well received by readers: Ánh thiếu quang (Association of Writers Publishing House, 2023) and Anh muon thay dai duong trong mat em (Literature Publishing House, 2024).

From a young age, Ky Duong was inspired by his grandmother, the poet Nguyen Ngoc Vuong, a folk artist and vice president of a poetry club, and soon developed a love for literature.

Not only is he a good poet, Ky Duong is also an active Youth Union officer, member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Hang Hai High School (Ngo Quyen District Youth Union).

Ky Duong shared: "I understand that the literary path is not easy, and is often lonely. But I believe that if we write with a truly moved heart, we will find many soulmates. In the near future, the door to university is wide open, in the new environment I hope to have new, longer works such as novels and short stories to bring positive inspiration to young people."
