Two U.70 brothers help their nephew pass the 2025 high school graduation exam

The image of two brothers with silver hair, quietly sitting outside the gate waiting for their grandchild to complete procedures to take the 2025 high school graduation exam moved many people.

On June 25, more than 13,700 candidates in Can Tho City came to the testing site to complete procedures for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

At the exam site of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Ninh Kieu District), Mr. Do Ngoc Huong (69 years old) and his younger brother Do Ngoc Tu (66 years old, both living in An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) took their two grandchildren, Ngo Nhat Minh and Do Thanh Dat, to complete the exam procedures. When the grandchildren entered the exam room, the two men sat outside the gate waiting to take them home. Not only did they take them to the exam site, but they also carefully recorded the exam schedule for each subject and arranged the pick-up and drop-off time appropriately.

Mr. Do Ngoc Huong and Mr. Do Ngoc Tu Huong parked their car and waited to pick up their two grandchildren to complete the procedures for the high school graduation exam at the exam site of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School.

Mr. Huong shared: "The two children have played together since childhood and studied at the same school. Now they have the same exam scores, so my brother and I take turns taking them from the day of the exam registration process to the two official exam days, to help the children feel secure in taking the exam."

According to Mr. Huong, Minh and Dat's parents are busy working so he and his younger brother take care of their children's education.

Mr. Huong and his brothers will accompany their two grandchildren throughout the 2025 high school graduation exam days.

The house is nearly 10 km from the exam site, so Mr. Huong and his brother make an appointment to wake up early to take their children to school on time. These days, the rain and wind often last for a long time, making Mr. Huong worried, afraid that slippery roads and traffic jams will affect the children's travel as well as their exam psychology. To be proactive, he regularly monitors the weather forecast, carefully plans the pick-up and drop-off, making sure that the children are not late or encounter any obstacles before the exam.

The affection, dedication and sense of responsibility of the two U.70 brothers inspired and left many beautiful emotions in the 2025 high school graduation exam. They are not only relatives, but also silent but loving "companions" on the journey of overcoming the gate of heaven.
