ABC News reported on August 8 that former US President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have agreed to participate in a debate on the channel on September 10. In an announcement, ABC News said that Mr. Trump and Ms. Harris have confirmed their participation in the event. According to The New York Times, the 90-minute debate is scheduled to take place in Philadelphia and ABC News hosts David Muir and Linsey Davis will serve as moderators. The New York Times quoted two sources as saying that the debate will likely be held without a live audience, with the script and ground rules still being developed.
