Admitting that he was under a lot of pressure when playing away from home with an overwhelming home crowd, Coach Kim said: “I felt pressure but I believed in the team’s preparation. The match was very difficult, but the players fought patiently and deserved to win.”

The Korean coach also explained his special action of continuously waving a towel to direct from the sidelines: “Because the stadium is too big and the Indonesian fans are too crowded, it is difficult for verbal instructions to reach the players. I used the towel to signal the players to continue pressing and attacking.”
