Thai Nguyen Ornamental Plants Association: Spreading passion, connecting the community

On June 25, Thai Nguyen Provincial Ornamental Plants Association held a conference to review the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Ornamental Plants Association (SVC) organized many practical and exciting activities, attracting a large number of members to participate, contributing to promoting the patriotic emulation movement, building new rural areas and developing the economy - society.

Responding to the theme “Student Association joins hands for green, clean and beautiful Thai Nguyen province”, all levels of the association focused on disseminating the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s laws related to students; promoting the economic, cultural and environmental values of students; and mobilizing the development of members. The whole province has developed 50 new members, bringing the total number to 3,150 members.

The organization of emulation and launching of patriotic emulation movements were carried out according to plan. Many localities coordinated to organize large-scale exhibitions and competitions, attracting hundreds of unique works and products to participate.

Delegates visited the ornamental plant display area at Dung Tan Trade and Tourism Center.

Notably, the Provincial SVC Association has successfully coordinated to organize the SVC Week within the framework of the Thai Nguyen province tourism event with more than 500 participating works, gathering members, businesses, and artisans from many localities. Thai Nguyen City, Pho Yen City, Dong Hy and Dai Tu districts are bright spots with many diverse activities such as organizing exhibitions, bird competitions, bonsai competitions, introducing SVC products associated with tourism development and urban agriculture.

Along with that, the SVC Association also promotes production linkages, forming collective economic models, typically in Dai Tu, 4 cooperatives have been established to produce medicinal plants and ornamental plants, contributing to job creation and income improvement for hundreds of members...

In the last 6 months of the year, the Thai Nguyen Provincial SVC Association will focus on implementing key tasks: Strengthening the association organization after rearranging administrative units, organizing provincial congresses, promoting communication, replicating effective models, building valuable SVC products, contributing to spreading passion, connecting the community, developing the rural economy, building civilized urban areas...
