According to a survey by Dan Tri reporters, the iPhone 14 Plus has gradually disappeared from genuine shelves in the Vietnamese market. Many authorized Apple dealers confirmed that this model has fallen into a state of being out of stock and discontinued.

Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product line director at Di Dong Viet system, said: "We have proactively stopped selling iPhone 14 Plus to optimize the product portfolio and better suit consumer trends.
In fact, the purchasing power of iPhone Plus models in the Vietnamese market is not as high as expected. This is also the reason why we want to promote other versions to meet the actual needs of consumers."
Since mid-February, Apple has quietly "killed" the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus duo right after introducing the iPhone 16e model. This is the first time Apple has "killed" an iPhone model that is not in the Pro line in the middle of its life cycle, instead of maintaining it as an option in the low-cost segment.
However, the iPhone 14 is still being maintained by dealers, while the Plus version has almost completely disappeared from genuine stores.
Dealers also shared that the iPhone 14 Plus did not receive much attention from Vietnamese consumers right from its launch. Sales of this model only accounted for a small part of the total sales of the iPhone industry.
In the near future, the iPhone 15 Plus will become the flagship product line, replacing the iPhone 14 Plus. Currently, the 128GB version of the iPhone 15 Plus is offered for sale at a price of 19 million VND.

A representative of Minh Tuan Mobile system shared: "Sales of iPhone Plus versions tend to increase slightly every year thanks to improvements and upgrades in each generation. However, this growth has not yet reached expectations."
According to experts, Vietnamese users' iPhone shopping habits are clearly differentiated. In the high-end segment, users prioritize choosing the Pro Max version.
Meanwhile, in the mid-range and high-end segment of the standard iPhone, users prefer compact, easy-to-hold devices with more affordable prices. This is the reason why the iPhone 14's sales are superior to the iPhone 14 Plus version.
