Mr. Kieu Vinh Phuong - Executive Director of Project Management Board 4 (Vietnam Road Administration) - investor of the project "Investment in construction of the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 8A" said: At about 7:30 a.m. this morning (December 7), a landslide of about 200m3 of rock and soil blocked the road to Cau Treo International Border Gate in the area of the girl's waist at Km82+300, causing traffic congestion.

Project Management Board 4 mobilized 2 excavators, specialized vehicles and human resources to speed up the progress of clearing the landslide section of road.

By noon of the same day, the landslide had been cleared and traffic returned to normal.
