From February 19 to March 19 and from August 5 to 31, 2024, tourists from Hai Duong will be exempted from train tickets (VND 180,000) to climb Muong Hoa mountain at Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area (Sapa, Lao Cai). Hai Duong tourists are one of 5 provinces and cities exempted from this service (the remaining 4 provinces and cities are Lao Cai, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh).

This policy aims to realize the Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation with Lao Cai - Hanoi - Quang Ninh - Hai Phong - Hai Duong provinces signed from September 2023, to strengthen connectivity, exploitation and development of tourism products between the Northeast - Northwest provinces.

Sun World Fansipan Legend is located at an altitude of 3,143 m, on the top of Fansipan in the southwest of Sapa. This area has many landscapes to explore such as: Thanh Van Dac Lo spiritual complex, Ngoc Xa Loi Phat, La Han street, 9-storey waterfall, the tallest flagpole in Indochina...

When traveling by Fansipan mountain train, you can fully enjoy the view of Muong Hoa valley.
