Opening of the training course "Overcoming barriers - Raising the voice of the blind"

On the morning of July 8, in Hanoi, the Vocational Education Center, the Hanoi Association for the Blind, in collaboration with Vinh Cuong Media Company Limited, organized the opening ceremony of the Communication Skills Training Course with the theme "Overcoming Barriers - Raising the Voice of the Blind".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Vice President in charge of the Hanoi Blind Association Hoang Manh Cuong affirmed: Improving communication skills for the blind is an important task of the Hanoi Blind Association, aiming to help the blind gain more skills to integrate into the community, proactively communicate so that the social community can better understand the difficulties, the will to overcome difficulties, and the essential needs of the blind. Thereby, helping the blind tell their own stories, gain more confidence, overcome barriers, and take control of their lives.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Hien (Vinh Cuong Media Company Limited) - Lecturer of the training course, with the theme "Overcoming barriers - Raising the voice of the blind", this training course aims to improve the level and communication skills of blind students who are officials of blind organizations and press collaborators of the Hanoi Blind Association. The goal is for blind students to have an overview of communication activities, to be able to create communication plans for individuals, events, and a communication campaign. Blind students can proactively write communication articles, make basic communication podcasts, and apply some apps....

Within the framework of the opening program, blind trainees participating in the training course exchanged and shared stories of each unit and individual. On that basis, members discussed the development of plans to implement communication products, identify target audiences, implement integrated marketing communications, find solutions to integrate communications and marketing policies in sales, in order to support blind people to have more job opportunities and livelihoods.
