From today (July 29), candidates in Hanoi, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang (formerly Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang), Lao Cai (formerly Lao Cai and Yen Bai ), Dien Bien, Lai Chau, and Son La will start paying university entrance exam fees for 2025.
According to information from parents and candidates, after clicking to confirm payment, the fee for each wish is 15,000 VND. On many social forums, a series of candidates expressed surprise, even regret for not registering more wishes, because in previous years, this fee was 20,000 VND.
By the evening of July 28, the Ministry of Education and Training 's system recorded nearly 850,000 candidates having submitted their applications, an increase of more than 115,000 compared to last year. There were 7.6 million applications in total, with each student registering for nearly 9 applications on average. If the application fee is 20,000 VND/application, the total amount candidates must pay is about 152 billion VND. When reduced by 5,000 VND, the total application fee is reduced by about 38 billion VND.
Also this morning, many candidates reported having problems paying their university admission fees. Although the money in their bank accounts was deducted, the system still reported that the admission fee had not been paid.
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, if candidates do not see the "Payment" button at the registration interface, it is possible that at that time the candidate is not from the province or city that is opened according to the fee payment schedule, or the payment system is overloaded and needs to be temporarily hidden to prevent congestion.
In case you have received a notification of money being deducted from your bank account or e-wallet but have not received a successful notification, you need to contact the hotline of the payment channel or the admission system switchboard to report and receive support for checking. The money deducted from this transaction will be refunded.
If the fee payment transaction cannot be made due to system congestion, candidates should not attempt to access again immediately. Candidates should wait about 15-30 minutes before accessing, and at the same time review their bank account and e-wallet information to perform when the system returns to normal.
After several unsuccessful attempts, candidates can call the admission system support hotline or report to the information technology teacher of the high school where the application is received.
When making payment, the beneficiary account will appear as Hanoi University of Science and Technology (for the North) or the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications (for the South) - two schools representing the Ministry of Education and Training to collect the fee.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes.
