In the first leg of the SEA V.League last week, the Vietnamese team caused a surprise when they won 3-1 against Thailand. It was a match that not many people had faith in coach Tran Dinh Tien's team.

But with reasonable tactics, adjustments in the first stage and determination, the whole team won. The Vietnamese men's volleyball team was the only team to defeat Thailand, the champion of the first stage.

In this rematch, Coach Tran Dinh Tien’s students will have a psychological advantage. However, with their level, the Thai team has certainly learned some useful lessons.

Unlike stage 1, at this point in stage 2, it is very difficult to predict who will be the main scorer of the Vietnamese team. Ngoc Thuan's role of "carrying" points has been significantly shared with Quoc Du. Along with that, Van Hiep, after returning from injury, also showed some signs of improvement.

There is no guarantee that the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will beat Thailand again. But as long as the whole team plays with determination and avoids mistakes as much as possible, that is a positive sign.

The big match between Vietnam and Thailand will take place at 7pm on July 18. Before that at 4pm will be the match between the Philippines and Cambodia.
