A Vietnamese company organizes an international pickleball tournament in Malaysia.

(NLDO) - The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 is about to start in Malaysia with the participation of many top players in the Southeast Asian region.

The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 will take place on August 16 and 17 at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA), the most modern pickleball center at the Alam Shah Sports Complex in Selangor - Malaysia.

This event is organized by Kingtek Energy Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) in collaboration with Baseline operator, with the participation of many top tennis players from many countries in the Southeast Asian region.

At the press conference announcing the award, a representative of the Organizing Committee shared: "We expect Kingtek International 2025 to not only be a place for sports competition, but also a journey of inspiration, cultural connection and community development."

With the spirit of "Sports create prosperity", the tournament aims to spread Pickleball, a sport that is growing strongly globally, closer to players in Asia.

Kingtek International 2025 is open to all athletes aged 18 and above, regardless of nationality.

Players are divided by level: Novice (<3.2), Intermediate (<4.0) and Open (no level limit), with three main competitions: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

The tournament will take place at the Pickleball Centre at the Alam Shah Sports Complex in Selangor.

The total prize pool is worth RM100,000, including cash, Kingtek premium competition rackets, trophies and medals. The Open champion will receive RM5,000, a trophy, gold medals and two K09 rackets - a high-performance racket suitable for professional competition. The Intermediate and Novice champions will also receive prizes ranging from RM500 to RM3,000, along with competition rackets and medals respectively.

Introducing new Kingtek rackets at the tournament press conference

According to Kingtek representative, Malaysia is a country with a modern pickleball court system and a thriving player community. Choosing to host the tournament at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA) is expected to help improve the quality of the tournament, ensuring international competition standards.

"We want to build a Vietnamese sports brand capable of organizing professional, regional-scale events. This is a strategic step to expand Kingtek's influence in the sports field," the representative of the Organizing Committee affirmed.

Vietnamese players can register to compete until August 10 by scanning the QR code or visiting the Kingtek Pickleball fanpage. The tournament is expected to attract many professional and amateur players from countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
