Cool green day in Nhon Ly

HeritageHeritage22/04/2024

Tourists coming to Quy Nhon often visit Ky Co - Eo Gio in Nhon Ly commune (about 30km from Quy Nhon city) to admire the wild and dreamy sea and sky, beautiful mountains and rocks. Also on the way to Nhon Ly, there is an ancient fishing village that is changing its appearance, becoming an increasingly well-known destination. Following our local guide, we arrived in Nhon Ly on an early summer day. Because we left the city quite late, the sun was already high when we arrived. From afar, the sunlight danced like sparkling glass beads on the blue sea. The old, uneven roofs gradually appeared. The houses in Nhon Ly are usually only 1 or 2 stories, mostly facing the sea. There are many small paths leading into the village, we chose the path paved with black-green stones which is often called the “blue stone road” here. This path is actually a small alley winding around the village, the special thing is that there are many colorful and vivid murals on both sides. Because of these murals, the fishing village is becoming more and more known, becoming a check-in spot for young people with the name "Nhon Ly Mural Village". There are many decorative details in Nhon Ly in blue. We happily exclaimed: “Oh, we are in Santorini!”. The blue windows, blue lampshades, and giant blue fish decorated on a wall along the slope made many tourists excited, lining up to take pictures.
Dotted in that green space are rows of bougainvillea laden with bright pink flowers in the sunlight. The fishing village has both winding alleys and gentle slopes that remind me of the poetic alleys in Da Lat or the mural village that attracts many tourists in the coastal city of Busan (South Korea).
