Bar in Da Nang openly stores and sells laughing gas

On the afternoon of June 4, Son Tra District Police ( Da Nang City) said they were consolidating the case file to handle the act of storing and trading laughing gas of the owner of New Golden Pine bar (No. 325 Tran Hung Dao Street, Son Tra District).

Initial information from the police agency, late on June 3, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Son Tra District Police coordinated with An Hai Bac Ward Police to inspect the New Golden Pine bar (at the above address) and discovered that the bar staff was pumping N2O (laughing gas) into balloons to sell to customers.

Police discovered and temporarily seized laughing gas stored and sold by New Golden Pine bar.

During the inspection, the police discovered and seized 9 large laughing gas cylinders of 20kg each, 5 small laughing gas cylinders of 5kg each, and 6 sets of Shisha tools.

In addition, the police also discovered a truck with license plate 76C-14134 parked next to the New Golden Pine restaurant carrying 4 gas cylinders that were still sealed.

According to the police, this is the third time the New Golden Pine bar has been discovered by the Da Nang City Police Department selling laughing gas, laughing balloons, and shisha.

Previously, at 0:20 on April 22, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of Da Nang City Police presided over and coordinated with the Mobile Police Department to raid the New Golden Pine bar.

Upon inspection, the police discovered that the bar was operating past its scheduled hours, with customers using shisha, laughing gas, and balloons.

Laughing gas cylinders and Shisha paraphernalia at the bar were seized by police.

Searching the shop, the authorities discovered 7 laughing gas cylinders with a capacity of 22 kg each and 21 shisha tools.

Notably, through a rapid drug test, the police determined that 9 employees of this bar and 1 guest tested positive for drugs.

Due to the New Golden Pine bar's continuous violations, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Son Tra District Police handed over the case and evidence to the Economic Police Team of the District Police for further investigation and handling.
