According to Insider Gaming 's leaked sources, the Star Wars Eclipse game developed by Quantic Dream is currently targeting a planned release date of 2026.
The news comes from the same leaker who accurately revealed NetEase's plans to acquire Quantic Dream, about six months before the deal was officially announced.
Star Wars Eclipse Could Be Released in 2026
The source reiterates Quantic Dream’s recruitment efforts following allegations of a toxic work environment, sexual harassment, and bullying. In fact, the whistleblower who brought these allegations to light is still in a legal battle with Quantic Dream.
The 2026 release date is a reflection of Quantic Dream's development and staff shortages, and Star Wars Eclipse may be the furthest-off Star Wars game announced. To date, there have been six announced Star Wars games in development that have yet to be released.
At the same time, the source also said that everything is currently in a tentative state, so the game is still likely to be delayed further into 2026.
