Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khang said that after a semester, Tet is an opportunity for students to rest and reunite with their families. Therefore, teachers do not need to assign homework so that students can have fun and participate in family activities comfortably, without the pressure of schoolwork.

At school, for many years now, teachers have strictly instructed students not to give homework during the Lunar New Year holiday. However, before students leave school, teachers remind and encourage them to participate, help their families clean the house, cook, and talk more with relatives to strengthen their relationships.

According to Mr. Khang, in order for students to experience and feel the traditional Tet atmosphere of the nation, the school organized a banh chung wrapping festival for students to participate in.

Many grandparents and parents came to school with their children to wrap, boil, scoop and press the cakes. Everyone was excited and enthusiastic. Students, both male and female, dressed in traditional Vietnamese ao dai, with happy faces, ran around the school yard, gathered around the colorful spring miniatures, capturing moments of childhood and youth.
