On the morning of August 8, at the 45th Session of the Central Inspection Commission , Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission , presented the Politburo's Decision approving the position of Deputy Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission to Comrade Vu Hong Van, member of the Central Inspection Commission .

Major General Vu Hong Van has held the following positions: Deputy Political Commissar, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police, Ministry of Public Security; Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police; Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police; Director of the Department of Internal Political Security - Ministry of Public Security.

At the 8th Central Conference of the 13th tenure, Major General Vu Hong Van was elected by the Central Executive Committee to be a member of the Central Inspection Commission. The Secretariat decided to transfer Major General Vu Hong Van, member of the Central Inspection Commission, Director of the Internal Political Security Department - Ministry of Public Security to work at the Central Inspection Commission.
