According to the plan, U23 Vietnam will take a flight from Indonesia back to Vietnam at 1:50 p.m. on July 30. The flight is expected to land in Ho Chi Minh City at around 5 p.m. Members in the northern region will continue to take a connecting flight to Hanoi , expected to arrive at Noi Bai airport at 10 p.m. the same day.

After the tournament, the players will return to their home clubs to prepare for the upcoming new season, including the V.League and the First Division. Some of the pillars of the Vietnam U23 team are important factors in the squads of the clubs. In the coming time, these names will likely continue to gather to prepare for the 2026 AFC U23 Qualifiers in September as well as the 33rd SEA Games, scheduled to take place later this year in Thailand.

At the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament, U23 Vietnam showed stable performance, winning all 4 matches. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team overcame U23 Laos and U23 Cambodia in the group stage, defeated U23 Philippines in the semi-finals before defeating host U23 Indonesia in the final with a score of 1-0.

This is the third consecutive time that the "Golden Star Warriors" have won the championship at the tournament, showing their careful preparation and solid competitive spirit. In the context of having to play under great pressure from tens of thousands of spectators at Bung Karno, the championship is a worthy reward for the team's efforts.
