On July 10, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the exam scores and admission scores for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.

According to Dan Tri reporter, the top scorer of this exam is Nguyen Thien Phuc (born July 20, 2013), who scored 96.5/100 points.

Nguyen Thien Phuc was a student at Nguyen Thai Hoc Primary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. He was a team leader with many excellent student achievements in international, national, and city level competitions...

Other candidates with high scores include: Phan Ngoc Han with 89.5 points; Nguyen Vo An Nhien with 88.5 points and Phan Nguyen An Nhien with 85.5 points; Ha Phuc An with 85.25 points.

The entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School took place on July 4 with about 4,300 students participating, while the enrollment target was 350. Many candidates took the exam but the low target led to a record "competition" ratio of 1/12.29.

The admission score for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2024-2025 school year is 67.5, an increase of 2.75 points compared to the previous year. The admission score for the 2023-2024 school year is 64.75 points.

This is the first year the school enrolls 6th graders, after being separated from the former Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.

The aptitude test for admission to grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2024-2025 school year will include multiple choice and essay sections.

The content will test English and Vietnamese language skills - writing; mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences , social sciences (history - geography); application, solving practical problems.

In the multiple-choice test, candidates take a 20-question test in English on understanding natural sciences, social sciences and applying and solving practical problems within 30 minutes.

In the essay section, candidates will take a 60-minute test, which includes English proficiency testing: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and writing. Candidates will take the test in English.

Candidates will take the test in Vietnamese in the math and logical thinking test, reading comprehension and writing test.

The time limit for all sections of the survey is 90 minutes.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City is responsible for creating questions, organizing supervision and grading the survey according to current examination regulations.
