Standing Provincial Party Committee congratulates the Provincial Military Command

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on December 19, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to encourage and congratulate the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command. Accompanying him were comrades: Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Congratulating the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army is a special historical milestone for the armed forces as well as the country. The achievements and feats of arms of the Vietnam People's Army over the past 80 years have contributed to firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland; maintaining political stability and a peaceful environment for national construction and development; and affirming Vietnam's position and role in the international arena.

The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that, together with the Vietnam People's Army, the armed forces of Quang Ninh province have made great strides in growth. In the current period, the provincial armed forces have not only successfully completed their combat readiness tasks, firmly protecting the country's sovereignty , but also made important contributions to socio-economic development, preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. In particular, in the work of preventing and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 in September, the bravery and devotion to the people of the officers and soldiers of the armed forces were once again demonstrated.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a congratulatory speech to the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command.

The Provincial Party Secretary also hoped that the provincial armed forces would continue to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" of the heroic mining homeland; together with the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province, strive to fully complete the tasks and targets of 2025 as well as of the entire 2020-2025 term, and together with the whole country enter a new era of national development.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Khuc Thanh Du, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, thanked the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for its special attention to the provincial armed forces in the past time. He affirmed that the provincial armed forces will continue to make efforts to excellently complete the assigned tasks, thereby contributing to the overall development of the province.
