At 2:50 p.m. on August 3 local time (the same evening Vietnam time), the plane carrying President Luong Cuong and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at the international airport in Cairo.

The State visit of President Luong Cuong took place in the context of positive development of Vietnam-Egypt relations; this was the first visit by a key Vietnamese leader to Egypt in 7 years.

This is an important foreign political event of the two countries, of strategic significance, with long-term impact on the development of Vietnam-Egypt relations in the context of the two countries entering a new era, a new era of development.

Through this visit, the leaders of both sides expect to bring bilateral relations to a new height in order to open up a new space with much potential and room for friendly and cooperative relations for a common prosperous future, while building and better exploiting new cooperation mechanisms on the basis of respecting international law and the independence, sovereignty , territorial integrity and political institutions of each country./.
