University Admissions 2025: Admission fee payment schedule of 34 provinces and cities

The Ministry of Education and Training has informed about the time to pay university entrance exam fees by locality so that candidates can start paying from 0:00 today, and at the same time provided arising situations and solutions.

Candidates from 34 provinces and cities pay admission fees according to 7 time frames

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued an Official Dispatch on implementing online payment of university and college admission fees in 2025.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's plan for implementing university and college admissions in 2025, after completing registration and adjusting admission wishes at 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates must pay the admission registration fee online from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5.

Candidates need to pay attention to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training to pay the admission fee correctly.

The Ministry of Education and Training has coordinated with the Government Office to prepare infrastructure for connection and online payment of registration fees through the National Public Service Portal with 19 main online payment channels nationwide.

Candidates can choose one of 19 channels including:

- Banking channels: Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV, SHB , VPBank, TPBank, MBBank, HDBank.

- Payment intermediaries: Other banks via VNPT Money, Vietnam Post, Ngan Luong, Payoo, Napas, HPay (each of these intermediaries includes most of the banks operating in Vietnam).

- E-wallets: VNPT Money, Momo, Viettel Money.

- Mobile payment channel: VNPT Mobile Money.

To ensure safety, convenience, and avoid overload during the process of candidates making online payments, the Ministry of Education and Training has divided the payment schedule into regions of 34 provinces and cities according to specific time frames. Candidates will make payments according to the provinces/cities (where candidates have submitted their applications).

34 provinces and cities are divided into 7 regions with 7 different time frames. Candidates pay the application fee according to the province/city where they submitted their application.

How to handle arising situations

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can access the website using a personal computer, tablet or smartphone to make payments. It is recommended to use a device with a large enough screen (full HD resolution 1920x1080) for convenient operation.

At the same time, you should use the latest version of Google Chrome or FireFox browser for the most convenient operation.

At one time, candidates can only log into the Admission System on one device. Do not use the same account to simultaneously log into the Admission System on multiple devices.

In case candidates do not see the "Payment" button at the application registration interface, it means that the time is not within the payment fee payment period or is being temporarily hidden to prevent congestion in the payment system.

Situations that arise and how to resolve them

The Ministry notes that the online payment process depends on connecting many different systems, so candidates may encounter system congestion. In that case, candidates should not try to access again immediately, wait about 30 minutes and then try again.

When needing general support, candidates can contact the admission system support hotline 1800 8000 extension 2, or the National Public Service Portal support hotline 1800 1096, or the high school phone number, the teacher in charge of information technology of the school is responsible for supporting candidates.
