Violating bidding regulations, 11 officials in Quang Binh were prosecuted

On the evening of November 17, Quang Binh Provincial Police informed about the investigation process of the criminal case of "Violating regulations on bidding causing serious consequences" and "Illegal trading of invoices and documents for collection and payment to the State budget" in the area. During the 2 days of November 15-16, the Provincial Police Security Investigation Agency prosecuted 11 related defendants and is continuing to investigate and expand the case.

Specifically, the Investigation Security Agency of Quang Binh Provincial Police prosecuted and detained 9 defendants for the crime of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" under Clause 3, Article 222 of the Penal Code, including:

Tran Van Su (born in 1972, Head of Public Works Management Board of Tuyen Hoa district);

Nguyen Huu Kien (born in 1971, Head of the Public Works Management Board of Bo Trach district);

Duong Thanh Hai (born in 1981, Head of the Public Works Management Board of Quang Trach district);

Pham Cong Giap (born in 1971, Head of Public Works Management Board of Ba Don Town);

Tran Van Tuyen (born in 1964, Head of Public Works Management Board of Quang Ninh district).

Nguyen Viet Son (born in 1972, Head of Public Works Management Board of Le Thuy district);

Nguyen Van Sy (born in 1979, Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Projects of Dong Hoi City);

Nguyen Thai Son (born in 1975, Head of Land Fund Management and Resettlement Compensation Department of Dong Hoi City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board);

Truong Cong Nguyen (born in 1982, officer of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Projects of Dong Hoi City).

The Investigation Security Agency of Quang Binh Provincial Police also issued a decision to prosecute and enforce a ban on leaving the place of residence for 2 defendants for the crime of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" under Clause 3, Article 222 of the Penal Code, including:

Nguyen Hoai Nam (born in 1976, Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Projects of Bo Trach District);

Dinh Xuan Tien (born in 1964, Director of the Public Works Management Board of Minh Hoa district).
