According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Thanh Ba commune: Due to the impact of heavy rain lasting from June 29 to 30, in Thanh Ba commune, 131 households suffered landslides due to the high slope, near the production forest area, affecting auxiliary works, including Mr. Le Hong Thai's household in zone 8 (old Dong Xuan commune) whose house behind a solid construction collapsed; Mrs. Me Thi Nhi's household had a landslide 0.5m from her house - this is a new construction supported to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.

In addition, heavy rain also caused landslides and soil erosion on many traffic routes, affecting the travel of people in areas 3, 4, 10 (old Thanh Ba town); Dong Xuan - Minh Tien route... Some corn and vegetable areas in the commune were also affected by heavy rain.

To overcome the above situation, Thanh Ba Commune People's Committee requested: Residential areas with landslides to urgently organize meetings in the area and groups to agree on plans to dismantle and relocate people and property from high-risk unsafe locations; areas and households with landslides to create conditions for vehicles, equipment and machinery to enter to overcome the consequences in order to minimize damage to people. At the same time, mobilize local forces to coordinate with residents to overcome initial damage; clean up landslide areas, and soon stabilize people's lives.
