Building a safe and trustworthy cyberspace in the context of digital transformation

The event is an opportunity to exchange multi-dimensional perspectives on current cybersecurity challenges, share international experiences and propose strategies to protect a safe and reliable cyberspace for Vietnam in the context of increasingly complex digital transformation and cyber attacks.

This is a non-profit activity to raise public awareness of cyber security, listen to practical experiences from experts, and contribute to building a safe and sustainable digital environment for Vietnam.

In particular, the sharing session also creates opportunities for businesses to introduce initiatives, products or features to support customers in improving their ability to combat cyber attacks.

In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Minh Quan, Senior Manager, Cyber Security and Privacy Services, PwC Vietnam, gave an overview of C ASEAN as well as C ASEAN Vietnam.

Accordingly, C ASEAN is a social enterprise established by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) in 2015, aiming to create a platform to connect the ASEAN community. C ASEAN focuses on three main pillars: business and sustainable development, leadership and talent development, and arts and culture.

Since its inception, C ASEAN has been collaborating with various public-private organizations to enhance regional connectivity and promote sustainable development across all segments of the economy . In addition, C ASEAN also nurtures future ASEAN leaders through various leadership and talent development programs.

Established in June 2022 in Hanoi , C ASEAN Vietnam is the first international branch of C ASEAN, focusing on organizing thematic sharing events, workshops, performances and social responsibility initiatives.

Also at the sharing session, the speakers discussed: the capacity to ensure cybersecurity in the sustainable development strategy of enterprises; experience in banking security and cooperation with financial institutions; development of cybersecurity technology and sustainable digital transformation; protection of critical cybersecurity infrastructure, development of domestic cybersecurity technology and regional cooperation.
