According to information from the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ), as of 5:00 p.m. on September 10, floods caused by storm No. 3 have left at least 157 people dead and missing, of which 87 people died and 70 people were missing.

Cao Bang is the locality with the largest number of dead and missing people with 55 people. Next is Lao Cai: 40 people; Yen Bai : 28 people; Quang Ninh: 9 people; Phu Tho: 9 people; Hoa Binh: 4 people; Hai Phong: 2 people; Lang Son: 2 people; Tuyen Quang: 2 people; Ha Giang: 2 people...

Floods also caused severe damage to agricultural production, with 162,828 hectares of rice and 29,543 hectares of crops flooded; 15,959 hectares of fruit trees damaged; 1,582 aquaculture cages damaged and swept away; 1,174 livestock and 732,321 poultry dead... Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh , Hai Duong, and Hanoi suffered widespread power and communication outages.

Due to the long duration of the storm and the sustained intensity of the storm, very strong gusts of wind damaged 48,337 houses (concentrated in Quang Ninh 20,245, Hai Phong 13,927, Bac Ninh 3,450, Lang Son 2,929...); many shops, offices, and schools had their roofs blown off or were damaged.

Many advertising signs, telecommunications poles, and mobile broadcasting stations were broken; urban trees were uprooted and broken on the roads in Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hanoi... Localities are continuing to review and count the damage...
