Ai Nghia strives to soon upgrade urban standards

Road DT069, the section bordering Dien Ban town to Ai Nghia bridge, was invested in expanding into a spacious, modern dual carriageway more than 10 years ago.

Ai Nghia Bridge was continued to be expanded and built, synchronized with the cross-section of DT609 route, creating a highlight of Dai Loc district. To resettle people affected by the DT609 expansion project and urban beautification, the infrastructure of the Southern urban area was invested, houses were built along the vertical and horizontal roads.

According to Mr. Hua Van Hung - Chairman of Ai Nghia Town People's Committee, every year, the locality allocates about 20 - 30 billion VND to invest in essential projects.

Typical examples include repairing and upgrading school facilities and medical stations; building new Ai Nghia market and Nga Tu afternoon market, and Ai Nghia Kindergarten.

Cultural houses in neighborhoods were also built; martyrs' cemeteries were upgraded; Ai Nghia Cultural and Sports Center, Ai Nghia communal house park, and Ai Nghia park were built spaciously.

The locality has also received investment in many large projects such as the Vu Gia riverbank embankment to prevent landslides, Dai Loc Sports and Physical Training Center, Quang Nam Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital, upgrading DT609 from the west of Ai Nghia bridge to Dai Nghia commune, and upgrading and expanding DT609B.

Dai Loc District Party Committee office, Nguyen Trai Secondary School, the road connecting from DH3.DL route (now DT609C) to the district administrative center, Tay Ai Nghia bypass were newly built... The urban residential areas in the South from T1 to T13 were formed with a total cost of thousands of billions of VND.

Mr. Hua Van Hung said that the locality also launched a movement to mobilize people to donate land and dismantle structures to upgrade and expand 218 urban and intra-field traffic routes, and concretize canals with a total cost of more than VND285.4 billion.

Implementing the policy of building Ai Nghia town to meet the standards of a type IV urban area in the spirit of Resolution No. 05 dated December 6, 2016 of Dai Loc District Party Committee, by the end of 2023, the locality will achieve 84.25 points/100 standard points (25/55 criteria reaching the maximum level, 22/55 criteria reaching the average and minimum levels). Ai Nghia town strives to meet the standards of a type IV urban area by 2025.
