Vietnamese youth football aims for bigger goals

Coach Kim Sang-sik: 'The door to the national team is wide open for U.23 players'

Right after the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship, Vietnamese youth football will continue to aim for other major tournaments such as the Asian U.23 and SEA Games 33. These tournaments will be more difficult and more challenging, but with the success achieved, the young players of the Vietnam U.23 can confidently enter the upcoming fierce confrontations.

In the context of the national team facing many challenges due to the massive naturalization policy of other football teams in the region, Vietnamese youth football has emerged as a positive bright spot, proving that with the right investment in training, young talents can still rise up and compete fairly with strong opponents. The success of U.23 Vietnam is not only a source of pride, but also a motivation to continue to maintain and develop the youth football strategy, creating a solid foundation for the future.
