Ninh Binh announces 5 'young' rookies: A new breeze cools down V-League

With the ambition to achieve good results at the highest level of Vietnam, the newly promoted V-League team Ninh Binh FC has recruited 5 very young faces, all of them U.21 age.

Ninh Binh Club said: "The first new player to mention is Tran Thanh Trung (Do Nguyen Thanh Chung) - a 20-year-old midfielder, in the top 3 best young players of Bulgaria in the 2024-2025 season. This player born in 2005 is the most prominent face in the group of new players of Ninh Binh FC.

The second player is Nguyen Le Phat, who has made his mark in the U.17, U.21 and U.22 Vietnam teams. Possessing abundant physical strength, good speed and diverse finishing ability, Le Phat will join Ninh Binh FC after the national U.21 final on July 31.

Evan Abran, 20 years old, grew up in the Lyon youth team (France), has a Vietnamese mother and always considers Vietnam as his second homeland. This defender is ready to devote himself to the ancient capital team.

Nay Di Dan, born in 2007, 1.75 m tall, is a quick and flexible striker, expected to create a breakthrough for Ninh Binh FC's attack in the new season.

Dung Quang Vinh, born in 2007, younger brother of national team player Dung Quang Nho, is 1.81 m tall and plays as a central defender. Vinh has a solid, decisive playing style and is considered a potential central defender.

With the presence of these 5 promising young faces, the average age of Ninh Binh FC's squad participating in V.League 2025-2026 is just over 25 years old - a strong step in the team's rejuvenation and sustainable development strategy."
