Laver Cup 2024 takes place from September 20 to September 22 in Germany between the European team and the world team. On the European team side, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic did not participate, Alcaraz became the brightest star.

Carlos Alcaraz has won four Grand Slams, but this is his first Laver Cup appearance. The Spaniard, along with Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev, are the leading hopes for the European team.
This season, Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev in the Wimbledon semi-finals and Alexander Zverev in the Roland Garros final. All three players will join the European squad alongside Casper Ruud, Grigor Dimitrov and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Coach Bjorn Borg will lead the European team at this year's tournament in Germany. Starting from next year's Laver Cup, coach Yannik Noah will replace Bjorn Borg.
US Open runner-up Taylor Fritz is the brightest name on the world team. The American's teammates this year are also highly rated, including Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton, Alejandro Tabilo, Francisco Cerundolo and Thanasi Kokkinakis.
The 2024 Laver Cup will be played in a format of three singles matches and one doubles match per day. Points will be awarded on each day: one point on the first day, two points on the second day and three points on the final day. The first team to reach 13 points will win.
