Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Teofil Bartoszewski said that Ukraine's refusal to give Poland access to the secret terms of President Volodymyr Zelensky's "victory plan" was absurd and wrong.

Last week, Mr. Zelensky presented to parliament a roadmap for winning the conflict with Russia, including five public points and three secret annexes.

The public part includes proposals that the West immediately invite Ukraine to join NATO and lift restrictions on the use of foreign-made long-range weapons to strike Russia. Mr. Zelensky also proposed that the West deploy non-nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory as a deterrent.

Mikhail Podoliak, a senior adviser to Mr Zelensky, then went into the three “secret” clauses, explaining that they included a list of targets, an action plan and details of the necessary weapons that Ukraine wanted from the West.

However, Ukraine decided to keep these points secret from Poland, one of Kiev's strongest supporters since the conflict broke out.

In an interview with Radio ZET , Polish official Bartoszewski called Ukraine's decision "an inappropriate move" that "leads nowhere".

“We have helped Ukraine from the very beginning. We sent tanks, planes, we were political supporters,” he stressed.

Ukraine has not explained why it kept its victory plan secret from Poland.

Previously, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said that the roadmap proposed by Kiev was unclear and could be implemented immediately to solve all of Ukraine's problems.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed Mr Zelensky's plan as a "continuation of the conflict". He called on Ukraine to "come to its senses and reflect on the reasons for the conflict".
