The People's Committee of Dan Phuong district ( Hanoi ) sent an official dispatch to the Press Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) and news agencies and newspapers, affirming that there were no cases of food poisoning among students in the district due to the use of fresh milk and yogurt products.
On October 15, responding to the news that many students in Dan Phuong district (Hanoi) suffered food poisoning due to consuming fresh milk and yogurt products, Ms. Dao Thi Hong, Vice Chairwoman of Dan Phuong District People's Committee, affirmed that this information was incorrect.
Dan Phuong District People's Committee has sent an official dispatch to the Press Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) and news agencies and newspapers affirming that there have been no cases of food poisoning among students in the district due to the use of fresh milk and yogurt products.
The document of the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district stated that recently, on social networks and some newspapers and radio stations, there have been reports related to the phenomenon of some students having stomach aches and suspected poisoning due to using milk at some schools in Dan Phuong district and mentioned that the milk products brought into the schools were Nui Tan Ba Vi sterilized fresh milk and Nui Tan Ba Vi yogurt.
After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district reviewed the food safety situation in the area. At the same time, an interdisciplinary inspection team was established to randomly sample fresh milk and yogurt products of Nui Tan Ba Vi Milk Joint Stock Company for testing at the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene ( Ministry of Health ).
The test results of 2 samples of fresh milk and yogurt of Nui Tan Ba Vi Milk Joint Stock Company at the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control showed that they met all criteria according to national standards QCVN 5-5:2010/BYT and 5-1:2010/BYT.
Along with that, reports from schools and health stations in communes and towns in Dan Phuong district did not record any cases of students suffering from stomachaches, allergies or signs of poisoning due to the effects of pasteurized fresh milk.
Dan Phuong District People's Committee affirmed that the content reported by social networks and some press agencies about food poisoning at schools in Dan Phuong District, and at the same time, doubts about the quality of fresh milk and yogurt of Nui Tan Ba Vi Milk Joint Stock Company are not true.
Dan Phuong District People's Committee also requested to avoid posting unverified or untrue information that causes confusion and affects the psychology of students and their parents.
